About wikis in generalWikis are kind of like the electronic version of whiteboards, where (typically) everyone yields pens and an eraser. Wikipedia is one of the most impressive and longstanding examples of a wiki.
While wikis depend upon trust and community contributions, they all sport various levels of safeguards. For instance, if someone vandalizes this wiki (writing slanderous stuff, erasing entire pages, etc.), page versions can be rolled back with a few clicks.
About this wikiThis wiki was started on January 23, 2005 by Adam Lasnik, an avid Lindy Hopper in San Francisco.
The primary goal of this wiki is to help current and future Lindy Hoppers easily find and share information and encouragement regarding this wonderful dance. Feedback is definitely welcome!
